another story idea

Thought of this whilst taking my morning shower: instead of the father ram attacking the mountain man out of spite/defense/whatever, the ram could be preventing him from danger. Maybe there is a thin layer of snow extending out over a precipice. The mountain man goes to walk on it (and fall to his death), but the ram comes and knocks him away. Mountain man doesn't know the ram is trying to help him... etc etc.

    I was thinking of something along these lines too where miscommunication and accidental situations are involved with the progression of events.
